Headband AAAA is a classic. It’s easy to locate almost anywhere, effective, and well-known. It’s widely distributed, but most popular on the West Coast. This strain is the cross of a 40:60 sativa/indica ratio between two venerable relatives, OG Kush and Sour Diesel. Headband gets its name from its well-known cerebral impact, as it produces a pressure sensation around the forehead, similar to that of a headband. This strain belongs on the top shelf of powerful strains. CBD levels are low, less than 0.5 percent, so Headband is best used to treat conditions that respond to THC.
Although the strain produces a strong mixture of euphoria and creativity, it is best used as a rainy-day strain, as it tends to cause a spacious feeling that can hinder daytime tasks. The strongest effects are focused on the body, making it a good choice for chronic pain and anxiety. it has the capability of treating nausea as well as mood disorders such as depression and muscle spasms and can also assist in the control of migraines. Headband has a smooth, creamy taste with lemon and diesel undertones. Expect dry mouth and dry eyes; other negative effects are rarer.
One of my all-time favorites! First tried it when I moved to Colorado some years ago and whenever I see it around it now it’s a choice daytime strain. There’s not much of a body high unless you smoke a ton of it, but the cerebral effects, the head effects pleasant…. classic stone! Good stone! Leaves one with some focus yet relaxed and psychedelic.
