Some Of Canada’s Healthiest Edibles

Some Of Canada’s Healthiest Edibles

There are a few edibles in Canada that don’t contain a lot of sugar, and now we’ve added a new option that is even better for those who want to eat healthier. Our dried vegetables and new dried fruit are perfect for those who want to avoid sugar.

What Is Cannabis?

Cannabis is a plant species in the family Cannabaceae. It includes three primary subspecies: Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, and Cannabis ruderalis. Cannabis has been used for a variety of purposes, including for its medicinal and recreational effects. It is also known for its psychoactive compounds, such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).

What Is THC?

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is a psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant. It is responsible for the “high” commonly associated with cannabis use. THC acts on the cannabinoid receptors in the brain, which are involved in the regulation of mood, appetite, and other cognitive functions. The amount of THC in cannabis varies depending on the strain, with some strains having higher levels of THC than others.

What Is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, which is a naturally occurring compound found in the cannabis plant. CBD is one of many compounds, known as cannabinoids, that are found in the cannabis plant. Unlike the more well-known compound tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it does not produce the “high” commonly associated with cannabis use.

CBD has become increasingly popular in recent years as a natural remedy for a variety of health conditions, including anxiety, pain, and insomnia. It is also used to manage symptoms of conditions such as multiple sclerosis and help with epilepsy. CBD is available in a variety of forms, including oils, capsules, and topical creams.

Dehydrated beets, cauliflower, and figs

Quebec has a long history of reluctance to legalize cannabis, and has implemented some of the country’s most restrictive regulations and crackdowns on cannabis culture.

In 2019, the province banned the sale of cannabis-infused sweets, citing concerns that these products are attractive to minors. However, a year later, when cannabis became legal, there was no stocked edibles of any kind.

I was skeptical about the new edible options, given that the only other option was flavored bites that were also unpleasant.

I tried the cannabinoid-infused fruit and vegetables and they were really good. In fact, I thought they tasted just like those seed bells you put in your backyard in the winter so chickadees don’t starve. However, I also tried them out and they were really good. So, I think you should try them too.

The basics

Quebec’s new THC-infused edibles are produced by Ontario-based CannMart and BC-based processor Rilaxe Canada. Each bag of edibles contains four units (aka pieces of dried vegetables). This makes Quebec’s THC-infused edibles the most affordable and accessible in Canada.

Each package of our products contains 10 grams of THC and 5mg of CBD. This is consistent with federal regulations, which mandate that each unit contains 2.5mg of THC and 5mg of CBD.

Each CBD-infused edible contains five units of CBD and 20 mg of CBD per unit. Although each edible may have trace amounts of THC, the total amount of THC in the entire bag is less than 0.1 mg.

The pros of these veggies include that they’re vegan, gluten-free, and affordable. Additionally, the small dose per piece makes it easy for new cannabis consumers to start off slowly without getting overwhelmed. However, some people may not consider these veggies to be particularly healthy, and they may need to consume a lot of them to get the desired effects.

Cauliflower: Choux-Fleurs Infusés

We have the perfect cannabis edible for you! Rilaxe beets and cauliflower are a delicious, healthy and elegant way to enjoy your cannabis.

This recipe includes organic cauliflower, organic high-oleic sunflower and/or safflower oil, sea salt, organic maltodextrin, MCT oil, and cannabis extract. This recipe is a healthy and nutritious way to enjoy your food.

I found that the texture and taste of the cauliflower pieces varied a lot, but I found the consistency to be more like popcorn and rock salt.

Some pieces have a slightly nutty taste, but it’s not really noticeable over the powerful punch of sodium that accompanies each bite. I love salt, but I struggled to finish these.

If you’re looking for the best way to enjoy your food, consider using our crumbled topping as a delicious addition to pasta, poutine or French-Canadian pea soup. It will add a unique and delicious flavor to each dish.

I don’t think I would buy it again.

This cauliflower likely won’t be popular with children or adults. Ultimately, this just seems like a missed opportunity to sell some weed-infused Funyons (or Foignons).

Beets: Betteraves Infusées

This healthy beet salad is made with a variety of healthy ingredients. Beets, canola oil, tapioca starch, sea salt, and MCT oil are all staples in a healthy diet. The cannabis extract helps add a bit of flavor and nutrients to the salad.

I’m not a fan of beets, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the bag of beet chips. These chips look and taste like a delicious purple potato chip. They’re not overly salty and have a mostly crunchy consistency. I really enjoy them!

If you’re looking for a delicious and nutritious meal, consider topping your salad with croutons instead of bread. This will give you the optimal balance of flavor and nutrition. You can enjoy this delicious option in a variety of ways – by putting it into a falafel wrap or shish taouk for example.

I might buy it again if I had the chance.

Bottom line: If you like those colorful veggie chips they sell in the bougie/hippie/organic aisle at the grocery store, you’ll probably like these.

Figs: Figues Séchées Infusées

Our figs are made with organic figs and cannabis extract, which gives them a delicious and potent flavor. They are also enriched with MCT oil, which makes them very nourishing and satisfying.

Though they’re not as sweet and chewy as the average grocery store fig, these are the clear winners of the three. They’re inoffensive, look like what they are supposed to, and blend easily into various recipes.

These figs are delicious enough that you won’t feel tempted to eat them when you’re hungry, but they still taste like figs.

Chopped up into trail mix, these bites can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. They make a great topping for oatmeal, in a smoothie, or on top of a tart.

I would definitely buy this product again – it’s great for keeping in my purse or cupboard, and I think my mom would love it too!

We know the kind of edible your mom would love, and we have the perfect selection for her.

It’s hard to know what Quebec edibles will be next. Maybe some pot-spiked prune juice, edibles disguised to look like homework, a stack of T4s, or a bottle of cod liver oil.

It’s difficult to predict the future, but if past trends are any indication, it may be a while before we see new varieties of Rilaxe dried fruit available in other provinces. In Quebec, we have four different fruit options: mango, cherry, banana, and apricot. Depending on availability, these may not be available in other provinces.
