How To Make Weed Infused Birthday Cake

Do you remember the best parts of your childhood birthday parties? Playing with your friends, getting loads of gifts, and eating endless amounts of cake? Well, you can have all of that and more as an adult without any of the stress! Simply have a few friends over and enjoy a cannabis cake, the perfect way to relax and have a good time.

What Is Cannabis?

Cannabis is a plant species in the family Cannabaceae. It includes three primary subspecies: Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, and Cannabis ruderalis. Cannabis has been used for a variety of purposes, including for its medicinal and recreational effects. It is also known for its psychoactive compounds, such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).

What Is THC?

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is a psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant. It is responsible for the “high” commonly associated with cannabis use. THC acts on the cannabinoid receptors in the brain, which are involved in the regulation of mood, appetite, and other cognitive functions. The amount of THC in cannabis varies depending on the strain, with some strains having higher levels of THC than others.

What Is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, which is a naturally occurring compound found in the cannabis plant. CBD is one of many compounds, known as cannabinoids, that are found in the cannabis plant. Unlike the more well-known compound tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it does not produce the “high” commonly associated with cannabis use.

CBD has become increasingly popular in recent years as a natural remedy for a variety of health conditions, including anxiety, pain, and insomnia. It is also used to manage symptoms of conditions such as multiple sclerosis and help with epilepsy. CBD is available in a variety of forms, including oils, capsules, and topical creams.

Step 1

Decarboxylation Process

Decarbing marijuana results in a high-quality cake that is both edible and enjoyable.

The process of decarboxylation is important when making weed cakes, as it converts the compound THCA into THC. Heating the cannabis at a long temperature for an extended period of time results in this conversion.

Decarboxylation is pretty straight forward and not too difficult if you have an oven and a baking sheet. Here are the steps to follow to decarboxylate the herb:

Set your oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit, positioning the oven rack in the middle. Crumple up some aluminum foil before laying it down on a regular-sized baking sheet. Break up your cannabis into pieces that are about the size of a grain of rice. Spread it out over the foil and then place another sheet of foil over it. Place the baking sheet in the oven and leave it for 45 minutes. Then take it out and let it cool for another 30 minutes at room temperature. Your cannabis should now look light toasted and golden brown.

Step 2

Cannabutter / Canna Oil

Cannabis oil and cannabutter are some of the most versatile and popular forms of cannabis products. They can be used in a variety of ways, including in recipes, as an additive to food, and as a topical treatment.

This leaves your marijuana extremely potent, which is perfect for using in your weed cake recipe. This means you have a highly activated form of cannabis that can be added to various oils or butter to create delicious dishes.

Adding cannabis to your oil will give it a rich, aromatic flavor. This recipe will allow you to make cannabutter or cannabis oil, which can be used in recipes or used on its own. The cannabutter or cannabis oil can last up to two months in the refrigerator, depending on how it is stored.

Step 3

How to Make a Marijuana Cake

Now that your cannabis is ready to be baked into a delicious weed cake it’s time to begin the third phase of this weed cake recipe. I should add, the hard part is definitely over, making the rest of the marijuana cake.

Main Ingredients

We recommend using 1¾ cups of flour, ¾ teaspoon baking soda, ¼ cup of granulated white sugar, ¾ cup of brown sugar, ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ cup of cannabutter or 8 grams of cannabis buds, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and ½ cup of dried fruits in this recipe.

Baking Instructions

This now completes the cake batter. Take a baking tray, either spray with oil or line with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the pan, spreading evenly, placing in oven for 25-30 minutes. Meanwhile, begin to mix together your ingredients. First adding eggs, sugar mixing until fluffy. Then add the milk and continue mixing. Take the cake out and let it cool for 20 minutes. After mixing in the milk add a teaspoon of salt while adding flour in small bits to make the mixing easier. Continue mixing until the texture is smooth. For a faster process use an electric mixer. After your baking time is up, insert a knife to ensure the cake if fully baked on the inside. If the knife comes out clean then your cake is good to go, if not then it needs a couple more minutes in the oven. Always keep watch on your cake, it is common for the top to burn if left in the oven too long. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Soften chocolate chips by placing them in a casserole dish, keeping the temperature low to avoid them burning. Next add your cannabutter and dried fruit with the melted chocolate together with the rest of the mixed in ingredients.
